The news 🗞️ Another one 🌮 Despite the year rapidly coming to an end, FinTech giant Visa V 0.00%↑ refuses to slow down - it is now acquiring a majority stake in Mexican payments processor Prosa.
The financial powerhouse is betting big that digital payments in Mexico are poised for rapid growth (solid bet!). The deal, expected to close in 2024 pending approvals, will give Visa over 50% ownership while Prosa's bank shareholders retain a minority stake.
