👋 Hey, Linas here! Welcome to another special issue of my daily newsletter. Each day, I focus on 3 stories that are making a difference in the financial technology space. Coupled with things worth watching & the most important money movements, it’s the only newsletter you need for all things when Finance meets Tech. If you’re reading this for the first time, it’s a brilliant opportunity to join a community of 370k+ FinTech & AI leaders:

Anthropic quietly launched a certification program called Certified Architect (Foundations). It covers everything in the Claude stack: agentic loops, multi-agent orchestration, the Agent SDK, Claude Code configuration, structured extraction, MCP integration, and production reliability patterns. The only problem? Access is gated behind Anthropic’s partner program 🔒 If you’re not already in the ecosystem as a partner, you don’t get the curriculum, the exam, or the structured path through the architecture.

We went through it anyway. Below is the entire body of knowledge - every concept, every pattern, every implementation detail - restructured from the ground up 🧠

Anthropic’s version is organized like an exam. This version is organized around the five systems you’ll actually build in production. Each section gives you the concept, the code, the failure mode that will cost you a week if you hit it blind, and a build exercise that forces real understanding.

Whether you’re a founder wiring Claude into your product, an engineer building your first agent system, or a technical leader evaluating whether this stack can handle your workflows - the material is the same. The difference is that nobody gatekept it for you.

Two things we believe make this guide really powerful.

→ First, the failure modes. The docs tell you how things work. They don’t tell you the three bugs that break every first agent implementation, or why multi-agent systems fail at the coordinator level while everyone blames the subagents, or why progressive summarization destroys the exact data your agent needs to do its job.

→ Second, the build sequence. The five systems are ordered so each one layers on the last. By the time you reach the capstone - a full customer support resolution system - you’ve already built every component it requires.

This is the guide we wish had existed when we started building on Claude’s stack. It didn’t, so we wrote it.

To make Claude even more powerful, we’re also sharing how to 10X your Claude Skills (using Karpathy’s autoresearch method), and how I turned Claude Cowork Into My Personal COO that does real work while I sleep. It has everything you need to make AI your most powerful resource & leverage, and automate your life 🤖
